What we collect

When you use Easy Apply (our own roles): your full name, email address, the CV file you upload and anything written in it, the role you applied for, the site language, and the time you applied.

Security check: the Easy Apply form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. It looks at your IP address and basic browser signals. We send your IP address to Turnstile for this check, but we don't store it.

One cookie: kr_lang remembers whether you prefer English or Bahasa Indonesia, so you land on the right language next time. It lasts one year. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Technical logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, so it can deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't use this to identify you.

Emails you send us: if you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can reply.

We don't ask for passwords, ID card numbers or payment details.

Why we use it

• To consider your application and contact you about it. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form, and taking steps toward a possible work agreement you asked for.
• To keep the site safe: stopping spam, bots and abuse. This is our legitimate interest.
• To answer you when you email us.
• To meet legal obligations, if a law requires it.

We don't use your data for automated decisions about you, and we don't use your CV for anything other than the role you applied for.

Who can see it

• Our recruitment team for the role you applied for.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the site and stores applications and CVs, sends application emails and runs the security check.
• Google (Gmail), because our company inbox runs on it and applications arrive there by email.
• Authorities, only when the law requires us to share.

We never sell your data. We won't share your CV with other employers unless you clearly agree to that separately first.

Jobs from other sites

Most jobs on KerjaanRemote come from other job boards. When you click Apply on one of them, you leave our site and apply on the original posting. We don't send them your details. That site's own privacy policy applies to whatever you share there.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Cloudflare and Google. Their servers may be outside Indonesia, for example in Singapore, the United States or Europe. We only use large providers with strong security, and we keep the data limited to what's listed on this page.

How long we keep it

• Applications and CVs: up to 12 months after you apply, then deleted. Sooner if you ask.
• Emails with you: as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
• Language cookie: one year, or until you clear your browser cookies.

How we protect it

The whole site runs over HTTPS. CVs are kept in private storage that isn't publicly accessible, and only our team can open them. No system is perfectly safe, though. If a data breach affects you, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

Under UU PDP you can:

• ask what data we hold about you and get a copy of it,
• correct data that's wrong,
• ask us to delete your data,
• withdraw your consent at any time (we'll then stop considering your application),
• object to or ask us to limit how we use your data,
• complain to the authority that oversees personal data protection in Indonesia.

To do any of these, email info@kerjaanremote.com from the address you applied with, so we know it's you. We aim to reply within 3 days. It's free.

KerjaanRemote is for adults looking for work. Please don't apply if you're under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we start collecting something new (for example, job alerts by email), we'll update this page first and change the date at the top. Big changes will also be announced on the site.
